Alerting Customers to Telephone Deception Scams

Narita Police Station informs you of the following.
Around the end of January of this year, in Narita City, a person has been tricking employees of the Nursing Care Insurance Section of Narita City Hall,

● The deadline for procedures regarding a refund of a nursing care insurance has passed.
● You have to go to a bank to have the procedure done, and you have to pay a fee.

We have received a number of phone calls that are a premonition of phone deception, asking for bank accounts by saying things such as.

Please note that City Hall does not make any such calls.
If money is mentioned on the phone, suspect a scam, hang up immediately and talk to a family member or the police.
Also, set your home landline to voicemail even if you are at home, and take measures to avoid talking to the perpetrator.
