Beware of theft ！
（ 1 ） A series of car thefts have occurred in the jurisdiction.
Victims have been victimized while shopping or eating at a store
with bags and other items left in the vehicle.
When leaving your car, even for a short time or in your own parking lot,
make sure to lock your car and use security equipment
and do not leave bags, etc. in your car
to prevent damage from occurring.
（ 2 ） Recently, there have been robberies targeting the homes of elderly people in Chiba Prefecture.
It has been reported that the criminals are checking asset information by visiting homes posing as remodeling companies, etc.,
and asking if there is a large amount of cash in the home
and checking if the household is elderly
based on a list they have obtained as a preliminary step to the crime.
Some reports indicate that asset information, etc., is being verified through such surveys. Please take measures such as
not giving out information about your assets or family structure
and
not inviting them to your home easily.
